    Modern design technologies for patisserie art creation. 

    Dinara Kasko become an internet sensation with 3D printing technology to create artistic designs in pastry desserts. . With over 530,000 followers on Instagram drooling over her 3D printed treats, she has taken the internet by storm. However, her models aren’t created out of plastics or metal. She uses 3D printing technology to create artistic designs in her pastry desserts. This is a growing trend at the moment, as it offers far more precision than a human. We spoke to her about her history, how she became involve with 3D printed food, and what to expect in the future.

    The power of ecosystems: the role of creative industries in promoting innovation in cities and regions.

    In recent decades, the importance of creative cluster development has gained increasing recognition from national and regional governments. Governments have been investing in initiatives and urban development plans that aim to create or support localized creative industries. Our understanding of creative clusters is expanded with thie insightful volume, published recently by Marlen and her colleague, which looks at issues of governance, place-making and entrepreneurship. In addition to its theoretical contributions, the new piece of research also presents a rich range of international case studies, including, among others, an analysis of coworking spaces in Toronto, business park development in MediaCityUK and mediapark.brussels and public–private partnerships in Warsaw. The aim is to share and inspire!

    Innovation activities are happening many times trough multi-stakeholder interaction by creating value together. These activities are always happening in certain environments though. This talk is about how to break the barriers between isolated silos of independent entities of innovation stakeholders. Physical environments are usually developed for certain purposes, as one entity at the time. Approaching those environments systemically it is possible to develop them as network of resources, using innovation environments as a service.
